Izu Ani

Executive Chef & Partner

Izu Ani has joined The Lighthouse as Executive Chef and Partner in order to bring his incredible culinary vision and talents to TLH and its customers. Most recently, Izu worked as Founding Chef at La Serre in Dubai. In 2012, Nigerian-born Izu Ani embarked on a year-long journey to create his dream restaurant, a concept that would combine his favourite aspects of dining and culture from France and the Mediterranean. He called it La Serre, meaning greenhouse in French, a double-story Mediterranean inspired

concept, encompassing an authentic French Boulangerie and a Chic Evening Bistro. Returning to London, Izu continued his culinary journey by re-launching the menu at Vanilla. He drew inspiration from his time in Spain and in the process became well respected for his innovative flavours and techniques. It was during this period that Izu was offered the opportunity to relocate to Dubai, to launch the French restaurant, La Petite Maison.
